Summer Stuff
My last week has been delightful. I have:

A) Gone to the Exhibtion, formally known as Klondike Days, which is this crazy wonderful fair that comes to town every july. While there I rode the highest, fastest, scariest rides, ate buttery sugary salty fatty treats until sick, played games so rigged i knew I'd never win but loved anyway, and spun myself silly gazing and leaping at blinking coloured whirling lights everywhere everywhere everywhere... My GOD i love the fair!

B) Attended a festival formally known as Heritage Days, which is a gorgeous affair down in this sprawling park all dotted with little lakes and shaded by giant willow trees, nestled prettily in the river valley. Practically every country in the world has a pavillion there. The pavillions are made from tents, often with false fronts on them that are painted and decorated and bejewelled to better represent the particular culture, and in them are small dishes to taste, handicrafts of various sorts to purchase, and information about history etc. Outside many of the pavillions, stages are set up where traditional dances and music are perfomed. Its all so magical on a gorgeous northern prairie summer night, all mild and golden until well after 10 o'clock...I bought the most beautiful rings and braclets from Peru and Guatemala, with glowing glass beads and deep crimson opaque stones in them.

C) Enjoyed thoroughly satisfying, languishing sex, all deep long slow kisses and lingering delicate touch...it would appear that sex with old friends can be a very successful endeavour. I'll be sorry to leave it behind.

But aside from that, I'm ready to return to Montreal. The summer has been enchanting, but I'm so fully psyched to start studying fashion. And I miss some stuff there, some friends, some streets, some venues. And my adorable little apartment! I bought some amazing new things for my tiny home, I can't wait to tee it up. And tomorrow my mom is taking me to Ikea for a new couch!

I have to go help my dad move this filing cabinet thing now. Later.
