N*E*R*D
Its weird how people might think from the beat, and the video for lapdance that its sort of just another kind of lowbrow, misogynistic rap thang, but it obviously so isn't.The lyrics to it are so fucking good, and like, at the very least one aspect of it is political, and a cool social criticism just in reference to politicians sounding like something much baser and darker than a society and its leaders should ever be. But at the same time, I think its so very muchh written with the stripper's perspective in mind. Its like, he talks all through the verses about how he's sick of shit, and like, plays with the imagery of violent thoughts as an act of revenge against the anger this messed up society is creating, and then the chorus comes in and its in the stripper's voice, and the way its sung and produced, it all has this edge and nervous energy to it sort of, and its all like 'yeah, you can get this lapdance here for free', kind of like she's holding a gun right at some freaks balls on the one nights sh'es just had way enough, going, yeah, you want it? here it is.Meanwhile, just before the chorus, he's sung "..and I dare a motherfucker to come in my face" - like its a play on the word 'cum', like his rage is connected to her rage, and everyone's rage. And like, kellis is in the video, as this girl playah at the club and shit, as a bit of total irony. haha. I love Kellis. THat song is rad.

Some RELENTLESS effing banner with endless leonardo Dicaprio pictures,a nd a bunch of shite about nothing is really fucking up my computer right njow. fuck.

PS I just corrected some of this entry, as i was really high when i wrote it the first time, and it made less than perfect sense.
